With being gone for a few days I got behind in my blog post, so today is “catch up” day. I have posted. Below are the links to chapter 7 – 11. In these chapters of Porn-Again Christian, Pastor Mark Driscoll goes after several ancillary issues (sins) related to this sin problem. He does a great job of showing how personal sin can become corporate and social sin problem.
If you do not read anything else, read Chapter 9 on Sex Slavery, where he writes about the way women are exploited and abused in this industry. There are many ministries that specifically seek to reach and rescue these helpless souls who are created in the Image of God.
Application: Take five minutes right now to pray for those who are risking their lives to save these women; that is to save them both physically and spiritually. Pray for their success in ministry, and pray for the safety of those they are trying to rescue, and for the safety of the recuers.
