I have no specific number or timeline in mind, but I will cover those that I personally find most interesting and informative. If you wanted, you could set at my computer all day long reading blogs that fit my parameters and you would never come close to reading all you could. Of course, we will all have our own preferences and interests. My goal here is to offer some information that may help you to discern what blogs may be most helpful to you.
And one other note, I will for the most part cover only those that are fairly regular in their posting; not necessarily every day, but at least weekly.
I’ll start with a scientific analysis of the top church related blogs. The people at ChurchRelevance (a blog), used a rather complicated formula measuring subscribers, Google PageRank, link hits, and other things, to calculate the most read church and ministry related blogs. Here is how they introduce it:
In all, they include the top 60 by their rank. The top five are (they are all linked) . . .There are hundreds of great church blogs and ministry blogs to read, but do you ever wonder which church blogs everyone else is reading?
I do, which is why I have compiled a list of the world’s top church blogs.
Some focus exclusively on ministry, while others are more like theology blogs. Regardless of how you label them, these are the world’s most popular church blogs written by many of today’s most influential church leaders, theologians, and Christ followers.
