CRAZY LOVE - Lukewarm #3

Profile of the LUKEWARM, evaluation three . . .

LUKEWARM PEOPLE tend to choose what is popular over what is right when they are in conflict. They desire to fit in both in church and of church; they care more about what people think of their actions (like church attendance and giving) than what God thinks of their hearts and lives. (Chan, “
Crazy Love ,” p. 69)

What sorrow awaits you who are praised by the crowds, for their ancestors also praised false prophets. (Luke 6:26, NLT)

I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead. (Rev. 3:1b, NLT)

Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels.
And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’ (Matt. 23:5-7, NLT)

Think about it . . .

Blessings
