People obsessed with a “Crazy Love” are Sacrificers ….. (Chan, “Crazy Love ,” p. 147-48).A person who is obsessed with Jesus is knows that the best thing he can do is be faithful to his Savior in every aspect of his life, continually saying “Thank You” to God. An obsessed person knows there can never be intimacy if he is always trying to pay God back or work hard enough to be worthy. He revels in his role as child and friend of God.
There is no way we can contribute or add to God. He has everything and is complete. When we are in God’ presence, all we can do is praise Him. Romans 11:35-36 says, “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him? For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”
But I do not need the bulls from your barns or the goats from your pens. For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for all the world is mine and everything in it. …..
