Planning

Your move.

Proverbs 16 is the Strategic Planning chapter of the Bible. It is important to note that planning is not discouraged. As a matter of fact, it is assumed in the chapter. Planning is recognized as something the wise person does. But greater wisdom is also demonstrated when one realizes that no matter what are best efforts at planning may be, in the end, God is always in control ad is the final determiner. His plans supersede ours. His purposes are more important than our.

Yes, we should plan, and then commit those plans to the sovereign purposes of God

Proverbs 16 . . .

1 To man belong the plans of the heart,
but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.

2 All a man's ways seem innocent to him,
but motives are weighed by the LORD.

3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
and your plans will succeed.

4 The LORD works out everything for his own ends—

9 In his heart a man plans his course,
but the LORD determines his steps.

33 The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the LORD.
