Hands and Feet

Speaking of missions, the best missions song of all time - yes! all time! - is Audio Adrenaline's: Hands and Feet. (Side note: They put on the best concert I've ever been to in my life -- not that I've been to a bunch, but these guys were fun.)

Behind that song is the story how the guys from that band were led to out their actions where their words (song) were, and they used their influence to start a missions orphanage a few years ago in Haiti: the Hands and Feet Project. Well, with the devastation of the earthquake, they have launched into a full blown effort to help minister to the people of Haiti, especially those near their orphanage.

You can read about their ministry and what they are currently doing in Haiti at the their website -- and it is an incredible website. On it, there are many different ways they are inviting you to get involved with their work in Haiti.

This will take you to their Webpage: Hands and Feet Website
This will take you to their Facebook page: Hands and Feet Facebook

Here is an interview with a couple of the guys from the band telling about their ministry and what they are now doing in Haiti . . .

And, of course, you gotta hear the song . . .

verse 17caught my attention to day about being kind "a man who is kind benefits himself…" this verse was a great reminder to me of whether i have been a kind hearted man. I looked at the day and unfortunately there were many moments were i was not kind. This was a god reminder to watch carefully what i say to others and watching out for my selfishness.
