If you're considering purchasing an eReader soon, this comparison chart from Michael Hyatt may be useful to you. All things considered, for reading purposes and some other basic functions, it looks to me that the Kindle 3G & WiFi is the best value for your buck . . . just saying, in case you might be looking for a 50th birthday present or something.
