Holding Your Heart

The heart is central to our acquisition of wisdom, and in the first few verses of chapter 3 Solomon emphasizes this vital connection:

Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart; ... 3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart; ... 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Our hearts grow affections for many things, these verses force us to consider if there is truly room - priority - for God and His wisdom (that is; the desire to have the right understanding of, affections for, application of, and, living in, His Word) there?

What/who, truly holds your heart?
